To use the Laser-Cutter, always design your sculpture through Ethos.
To draw your design, use the line icons just underneath the tool bar at the top.
Start off with the straight line, then when you need curvy lines, change lines by clicking the tool with the curved line.
Use the mouse tool to move the drawings about.
If you already have a design in mind, take a photo, import it into the app then trace around the lines.
If you want a basis for a design, copy an image from Google then paste it on and trace along the lines you want to use.
If you’re using letters and are trying to fit them onto a piece, write them out big then crop them down with the mouse tool.
To change colour, go to the ‘Cut-Through’ tool and change the colour on your design before you proceed to laser cut it.
If you don’t want to cut fully through into the material, use another colour to show what to cut through or not.
